show Abstracthide AbstractWest African countries requiring genomic surveillance of bacteria of antimicrobial resistance capacity that exceeds their in-country capacity submit strain sets to the SEQAFRICA node for West Africa at the Global Health Research Unit for Genomic Surveillance of Antimicrobial Resistance. Genomes and interpretation are returned to the client public health organizations or researchers in their respective countries to support local and national surveillance. Sequencing and other client services are supported by the Department of Health and Social Care's Fleming Fund using UK aid and performed under the auspices of the SEQAFRICA project.
